2. General
JAPAN TACOM exhibited at THAIFEX for the first time in three years, since 2019.
THAIFEX is divided into two pavilions: CHALLENGER PAVILION for domestic exhibitors and IMPACT PAVILION for international participants.
JAPAN TACOM exhibited in the IMPACT PAVILION as part of a subsidized project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, with the objective of expanding sales channels for Japanese confectioneries.
We actively conducted business meetings throughout the exhibition. The following sections summarize our activities and observations.

4. Exhibition Status
(1) Market Research – May 22
This was our first opportunity in three years to conduct an on-site market survey in Bangkok due to the pandemic.
We visited local stores to update ourselves on current retail conditions in preparation for productive business meetings with buyers at THAIFEX.
(2) Booth Setup – May 23
In the morning, we exchanged views with trading companies and buyers, then proceeded to the venue around 2:00 PM to complete setup activities. All preparations, including poster placement and booth layout, were completed in about two hours.

(3) Exhibition Period – May 24 to 28 at IMPACT PAVILION
The event was a great success, with numerous international buyers attending.
Due to the pandemic, large-scale international exhibitions had not been held in the past few years, and it was evident that buyers were actively seeking business opportunities.
